Summary

​The Jersey Teachers' Superannuation Fund 2016 annual report outlines the activities of the pension fund over the last year.

The report highlights that:

  • during the year the investments of the fund increased in value by £54.2 million to be valued at £482.6 million
  • the fund achieved an increase in investments of 14.8% over the year
  • the fund membership slightly increased over the year and at the end of the year the fund had 2,687 members, of which 44% are active, 38% are pensioners and 18% are deferred.
  • during the year the Dedicated Pensions Unit (DPU) processed 93% of administration tasks within its five day target
