Summary

​​Over 200 people took the opportunity to comment on the draft plan, generating over 1,100 separate comments on many different aspects of the draft plan.

The initial draft Island Plan was published as a White Paper on 25 September 2009. The consultation period was extended for six months, ending on 31 March 2010.

The Planning and Environment Minister has now considered all of the comments made and has responded to them.
