Summary

​​The Social Security Department compiles and administers data on people registered as unemployed and actively seeking work in Jersey. The States of Jersey Statistics Unit has taken over responsibility for independently analysing this anonymised data and since the end of January 2010 has published monthly reports of the figures.

1,060 people were registered as unemployed and actively seeking work at the end of May 2010.
