Can you please provide any correspondence, documentation or recruitment advertising regarding the recruitment of interim Senior Nurse [name redacted] Hall within Health and Community Services (HCS)?

If the role is engaging [name redacted] as a consultant rather than employee could you provide information on the tender process for the consultancy contract?

Could you also please provide any correspondence between HCS executive officers, senior staff or ministers regarding the creation of this post as it is not within the current departmental Target Operating Model.

The role was not advertised.

There is no job description for the role, as it does not exist within the Health and Community Services (HCS) structure. An agreed programme of work is in place as part of the contract which will be used to measure performance and delivery.

There was no open recruitment process which advertised the role. Instead, it was clear that the individual was appropriately experienced and qualified for the role, and the post was sent to the States Employment Board for approval. This approval was duly provided.

There was no cost to the recruitment process.

Recruitment to this post was not competitive.

This post is not part of the Target Operating Model. The actions assigned to the role are required in the interim in order that HCS react quickly to reform its governance and risk management protocols.
