Summary

​Consultation on the draft Island Plan, held between September 2009 and March 2010, generated over 1,100 comments. Independent Planning Inspectors Chris Shepley and Alan Langton reviewed these representations, along with other considerations, and produced a report into the draft Island Plan.

Their report includes a number of recommendations to the Planning and Environment Minister, Senator Freddie Cohen, as to how he might make changes to the draft plan.
