The Coastal National Park Boundary Review was commissioned as part of the evidence base for the new Island Plan and will help set new planning policies, as well as suggesting other ways to improve the protection of Jersey's coastline and associated intertidal and marine areas.
Fiona Fyfe Associates were asked to review the boundary of the Coastal National Park. Stakeholders including members from the National Trust for Jersey, and Jersey National Park provided input together with the Government, to put the report together. The review was undertaken between July and December 2020.
This report recognises the importance of better protecting our sensitive coastline by extending the scope of the national park to embrace new areas of outstanding landscape character.
