Summary
Sexual health is a term used to describe a person's health and wellbeing with regard to sexual activity and behaviour.
This sexual health profile brings together relevant data for Jersey covering different topics; sexually transmitted diseases (STI’s), contraception and conceptions, as well as information from recent surveys and consultations regarding sexual activity, contraception, wellbeing and attitudes.
Data in this report includes:
- Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as:
- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhoea
- Genital Warts & Genital Herpes
- Syphilis
- HIV (included in this reporting as sexual activity is a mode of transmission)
- Contraception
- Conception
- Survey and consultation data:

- Public consultation on contraceptive services in Jersey
This profile is the first of its kind in Jersey, and will be used as a baseline for future development.
