Summary
The Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 currently applies to government departments and a limited number of public bodies.
Recognising the need to modernise and strengthen transparency, the Council of Ministers launched a Review of the Law in March 2025.
Between September and November 2025, a public consultation gathered views from individuals and organisations through surveys, focus groups, and written submissions.
This report summarises the findings from the stakeholder consultations and public survey responses on the proposed expansion of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Law.
