Summary

Introduction

The purpose of this brief is to establish the general development principles for a new primary school in St Martin and sets out the guidelines to be adopted when preparing detailed proposals for the new school and addresses issues such as:

layout
design
vehicle access
pedestrian safety
landscaping

Status of this guidance

This guidance is produced in accordance with the 2011 Island Plan Proposal 1- supplementary planning guidance. It has been reviewed and amended in response to the findings of a public consultation, which the Minister has now adopted. The new guidance will provide the framework for the assessment and determination of any subsequent planning application.
