​​The carry forward process aims to ensure that resources are used effectively to get value for money, and to allow departments to plan further ahead than a single year.

The 2012 year end out-turn across all departments is an underspend of £27.6 million.

This report aims to consider the carry forward requests from departments from 2012 to 2013.
