Summary

​The JTSF 2012 annual report outlines the activities of the pension fund over the last year. The report highlights that :
  • during the year the investments of the fund increased in value by £24.1 million to be valued at £326.7 million at the end of the year
  • the fund achieved an investment return of 10% over the year outperforming its benchmark which increased by 8.3%
  • the fund membership remained broadly static over the year and at the end of the year the fund had 2,373 scheme members of which 47% were active members, 35% pensioners and 18% deferred members
  • further improvements have been made to the accessibility of scheme information with the establishment of a website and the development of a number of scheme member booklets
