​This report presents statistics on deaths of Jersey residents registered for 2008.
 
Death statistics include counts of death by age and sex, and by selected cause of death.
 
Data presented in this report are based on records of deaths that occurred in calendar year 2008, which were received from the Superintendent Registrars office, along with data from the Viscount’s Office, and processed by the Public Health Department.
