Proposed Budget 2026 to 2029

Name change to Budget

Continuing from last year, Government Plan 2026 to 2029 will be known as the Budget 2026 to 2029 ensuring the information is more accessible and engaging to be public.

This does not impact upon its legal status as a Government Plan for the purposes of that Law. The Budget 2026 to 2029 fulfils all the requirements of a Government Plan under the Public Finances (Jersey) Law 2019.

About the Budget

The Budget sets out the funding position for the Government, including:

  • income
  • capital
  • revenue expenditure

This Budget explains the financial context in which the Council of Ministers is taking action to address economic and political challenges, whilst investing in priorities and ensuring the long term sustainability of Public Finances.
