About the survey
It’s important that we understand how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected people’s health and wellbeing. The survey asks questions about:
- physical activity
- people’s experiences of COVID-19
It will also ask about characteristics like sex, residency, employment, and household circumstances, for example accommodation and household income.
How we’ll use the results
All results will be combined to produce an anonymous statistical report. The report will inform public health policies, help address inequalities and provide Jersey Sport with information about the physical activity Islanders are taking part in, and the facilities they may need.
The report will be published on gov.je and the
Jersey Sport website by the end of December 2021.
Households chosen for the survey
A random selection of 5,000 households across the Island have been chosen to participate in the survey. Picking households at random ensures that responses are representative of the overall population.
The householder who has their birthday next and is over 16 should complete the survey.
The survey is voluntary but we encourage you to complete it because your response represents other Islanders like you.
If you’re new to Jersey we still encourage you to complete the survey.
How to complete the survey
The survey is online but if you don’t have a computer and are unable to complete it online, we’ll send you a paper copy as part of our follow up in September.
