Clinicians considering a return to Healthcare
Thank you for your interest in helping Health and Community Services and our island healthcare providers fight COVID-19. The virus has the potential to put huge additional demand on our health service and our fellow islanders. Your support will make more of a difference than ever before, not just to patients, but to colleagues and the wider community.
Even if you fall into a group which is considered to be at increased risk, you can still offer valuable support through a variety of roles in secondary, community and primary care that are not patient-facing.
We are working closely with regulators (General Medical Council,
Nursing and Midwifery Council,
Health and Care Professions Council and
General Pharmaceutical Council) who have been contacting as many of their existing and former registrants as possible. If you have previously left Health and Community Services either temporarily or permanently, are currently registered in private practice or are in a non-patient facing role, then we would welcome hearing from you.
If you are a member of the public who would like to help on a voluntary basis. Find out more about volunteering thorough
