COVID-19 autumn vaccinations

​​​​​​​​​​​Who can get the vaccine

We will follow advice from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI)​.  

The COVID-19 vaccine will be offered to: 

• adults aged 75 and over 
• people living in care homes for older adults 
• people aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed, as listed in the Green Book (chapter 14a, tables 3 and 4)​

When the programme runs

The autumn programme will run from Tuesday 6 October 2026. 

How to get your vaccine

GP clinics 

GPs will run clinics during the programme. 

Contact your GP to find out their clinic dates.

Flu vaccines

You may also be eligible to get a flu vaccine this autumn.

Care home residents 

People living in care homes for older adults will get their vaccine in the care home from their pharmacy provider.  

Ask the care home manager for the planned date. ​
