COVID-19 spring booster

​​​Who can get the booster

We will follow advice from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI)​.  

The COVID-19 booster will be offered to: 

• adults aged 75 and over 
• people living in care homes for older adults 
• people aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed, as listed in the Green Book (chapter 14a, tables 3 and 4)​

When the programme runs

The spring booster programme will run from 13 April 2026 to 30 June 2026. 

How to get your vaccine

GP clinics 

GPs will run clinics during the programme. 

Contact your GP to find out their clinic dates.

You should get your booster about 6 months after your last COVID-19 vaccine. 

Care home residents 

People living in care homes for older adults will get their vaccine in the care home from their pharmacy provider.  

Ask the care home manager for the planned date. ​
