The seasonal influenza (flu) vaccine programme aims to protect those who are at a higher risk of flu-associated illness and mortality during the winter season.
The Seasonal Influenza (Flu) Vaccination Dashboard is designed to share weekly progress of the vaccination programme. The data will be updated regularly throughout the 2021 to 2022 influenza season as new data become available.
For those aged between 17 to 49 years, only specific cohorts are eligible for a flu vaccination, such as those at higher clinical risk or those working in healthcare. Percentage coverage in 17 to 49 year olds overall is therefore expected to remain low.

Uptake by age group is calculated using the 2019 Population estimates (the latest estimates available form Statistics Jersey). Where the percentage of those vaccinated is at or over 100%, these should be treated at ~100% until such time as the latest population estimates are available.
The figures are subject to revision where additional details may be obtained. For further information about vaccination uptake for the different eligible groups, alongside an assessment of the data quality, see the report on vaccinations by priority group.
