We work with many local charities and organisations to help you get mental health support.

This means you can get the right help at the right time, in a way that works for you.

By working together, we make it easier for you to understand your options and move between services. We support people at different stages of their wellbeing journey and help you find the support that feels right for your needs.

Triumph Over Phobia (TOP): manage phobias and OCD

Triumph Over Phobia (TOP) Jersey is a friendly self‑help group for people living with phobias, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related conditions.

The group supports you to understand your fears and build confidence at your own pace.

Weekly group meetings follow a structured programme based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), one of the most effective treatment for managing phobias and OCD.

The Shelter Trust: homeless

The Shelter Trust is Jersey’s main provider of accommodation and support for people who are homeless.

It runs services across 7 sites and offers up to 117 bed spaces each night.

Support includes:

You can access many mental health and wellbeing apps to get help and support outside traditional services.

​These apps support early help, self‑care and ongoing wellbeing. They complement professional care but don’t replace it.

Choosing a private counsellors or therapists​

Counselling is not regulated in Jersey and in the UK.

This means that anyone can call themselves a:

  • counsellor
  • therapist

However, there are many accrediting bodies in the UK for counsellors and therapists. These bodies make sure therapists meet high standards of training and ethical practice.
