The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) is a mental health assessment and therapeutic service for children and young people, up to the age of 18, and their families.
Mental health services for children and teenagers
The Emergency Department provides 24 hour support and care for anyone experience emotional and mental distress. In an emergency, call the ambulance using 999.

Youth Enquiry Service (YES)
The Youth Enquiry Service (YES) provides free, independent and confidential information, advice, support and counselling to anyone aged between 14 and 25.

GP or family doctor
Your GP or family doctor will provide support on emotional health and wellbeing concerns.
A GP can refer patients on to specialist services for any additional support.
Doctors (GPs) fees, prescriptions and health cards
Educational psychologists work with school staff and other professionals to:
- assess and identify children's special educational needs (SEN)
- discuss and consider support arrangements to enable your child to make progress
- ensure the educational and social inclusion of all children in schools
- train school staff and other professionals
- support for schools in times of crisis and bereavement
The Children's Service promotes, safeguards, and improves the wellbeing of all children and their families in Jersey.
Samaritans provides 24 hour confidential and non-judgemental emotional support.

The Bridge: parenting support services
The Bridge offers support to children and families via a central hub, open Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm.

Brighter Futures is based at The Bridge and offers a range of programmes which address three key areas of family life:
- relationships with the family
- self-awareness and self-management
They also work in partnership with Parenting Support Services to meet the needs of families and young people.

Jersey Brook Centre
Brook aims to protect, promote and preserve the sexual and reproductive health of people under 21 by educating them in matters relating to sexual behaviour, contraception, sexually transmitted infections, and pregnancy.
Brook also has a counsellor who will help support young people's emotional health and well-being.
