This immersive experience of Liberation Day 1945 sees projections of crowd-scenes from the Royal Square and Pomme D'Or Hotel filmed on 9 May 1945. The atmosphere is enhanced by a soundtrack of the excited crowd chattering, sharing their excitement and sharing stories of their loved ones.

The exhibition focuses entirely on Liberation Day, the joy of being free and what freedom means to people today. In addition to the crowd-scene projections, you'll find first-person accounts and photos of Islanders' Liberation stories and how their descendants feel about liberty and freedom today.
