Visit Jersey and Jersey Heritage are delighted to be working with Visit Guernsey and the Islands of Guernsey to collectively develop a Channel Islands Liberation Route – a component of the larger European model.
Liberation Route Europe is an international remembrance trail that forms a link between the liberated regions of Europe. It focuses on the liberation of continental Europe from the National Socialist occupation, and specifically, the long-lasting consequences of the Second World War.
The tour is a self-guided, web-based tour, and Jersey and Guernsey begin with a dozen locations. Jersey’s are as follows:
