About the Home Library Service
If you can’t visit the library, we can bring the books to you.
You can use our free home delivery service if you:
- have health or mobility difficulties
- are a full-time carer
You need to be a library member to use the service and you can:
- keep using it for as long as you need
- contact us any time to pause or stop deliveries
A member of our team will get in touch to arrange a suitable time for your book delivery.

What you can borrow
We ask about what you like to read when you join. This helps us choose books you enjoy.
You can borrow up to 20 books at a time, including:
- fiction, non-fiction and local history books
- large print books
- audiobooks
- reminiscence packs
You also have access to our online resources:
- e-books
- e-audio books
- newspapers
- magazines
