Council of Ministers Extraordinary Meeting

17 August 2007

Senator Terry Le Sueur, Deputy Chief Minister has issued the following statement.

“An extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers has been called for next Thursday 23 August 2007.

The meeting has been called to consider a report and proposition asking the States to agree to the dismissal of Senator Stuart Syvret from his post as Minister for Health and Social Services.

The meeting will be held at Cyril Le Marquand House, commencing at 9am.

Further information will be circulated following this meeting. Until that time I do not intend to comment further.”
