Jersey Competition Regulatory Authority Decision

​​Following the Jersey Competition Regulatory Author​ity's decision to fine his department, the Minister for Transport and Technical Services (TTS) is disappointed that the Board of the JCRA decided to issue a formal decision and financial penalty.

Constable Mike Jackson is, however, pleased that the competition issues concerning the provision of sewerage services in Jersey have been resolved, and regrets the delay in reaching this position.

TTS is aware of the right of appeal as set out in Article 53 of the Competition (Jersey) Law 2005 and will consider what further action should be taken.
