Volcanic ash update

04 May 2010

Jersey Airport would like to advise passengers that Channel Island airspace is open with air services to and from Jersey continuing as normal today (Monday 4 May).

The situation is being closely monitored by members of the met department and air traffic control.

Operations Director, Sandy Sawyer, said “There has been no affect to flights so far, we are liaising with the met department and air traffic control to ensure that passengers receive up to date information as and when it becomes available.”

The next update will be at 10am tomorrow (5 May 2010) morning.

Passengers are advised to check-in as normal and check up to date flight information on the arrivals and departures page of Jersey Airport's website.
