The Health and Safety Inspectorate Annual report for 2010 has now been published.
The report comprises 2 parts. The first part summarises the work carried out by the Inspectorate in 2010, with the second part providing information, sourced from claims made for Social Security Benefit during 2010, on work related accidents and ill health.
Colin Myers, Director of Health and Safety, said: "The Health and Safety Inspectorate Annual Report for 2010 provides a summary of the work which the Inspectorate was involved with during the year, including changes in health and safety legislation, serious accidents, enforcement action and information on work related accidents and ill health obtained through claims made for Social Security benefit. The report highlights the continued importance of managing real health and safety in the workplace."
