Latest house price report published

17 November 2011

The latest report shows that:

  • the mix-adjusted average price of dwellings sold in the 3rd quarter of 2011 was 4% lower than that recorded during the previous 12-month period and was also down by a similar amount compared with the corresponding quarter of 2010
  • on a quarterly basis, the average price of dwellings sold in Q3 2011 was 5% lower than that for Q2 2011
  • the latest annual and quarterly decreases in mix-adjusted average price were driven by the 2 and 4-bedroom houses sold in Q3 2011 and an increased proportion of lower priced 1-bedroom flats
