Plemont inquiry date announced

The public inquiry into the planning application for the site of the former holiday village at Plemont has been set for Tuesday 25 September 2012.

The independent inspector appointed for the inquiry has now also extended the deadline for initial public representations to Friday 20 July.

The Minister for Planning and Environment Deputy Rob Duhamel said “The future of this site is of interest to many Islanders. This inquiry is the last opportunity for all opinions to be expressed and I would urge anyone who has a view on the future of the site to make a submission."

The inspector has been named as Alan Langton and he will hear and consider all representations made to the inquiry. Representations made at this stage need be no more than initial comments, should be no more than 1,500 words and must include the correspondent’s name and postal address. A later opportunity will be given for full statements to be submitted.
