Islanders invited to ask Budget questions

Islanders who have questions about any aspect of next year’s budget can have them answered by a team of Treasury experts during an online forum on Wednesday.

Questions can be submitted ahead of and during the event which is being held on this site from 5.30 pm to 6.45 pm on Wednesday evening.

Anyone can ask a question, or add to the debate, by:

  • emailing budget2014@gov.je 
  • tweeting #SOJBudget
  • going to the forum and adding a comment

Engaging with Islanders

Treasury Minister Senator Philip Ozouf said “An online forum is an extremely effective way for people to discuss and debate key issues such as Budget 2014. It will be in real time and is an opportunity for Islanders to have their questions answered by the team who prepared the Budget. We want to engage with as many Islanders as possible about the proposals and this is our chance to address the specific questions that people have.”
