Covid schools update

​The Department for Children, Young People, Education and Skills has issued the following statement:


“There have been six further confirmed cases of COVID-19 at Jersey College for Girls. 

"The affected students have been isolating at home since last Thursday, 5 November, along with the rest of their households, and are following the public health guidance.  

"We have also been advised of three further confirmed cases of COVID-19 at Victoria College. The affected students have also been isolating at home. 

"Parents have been informed, and in order to respect the privacy of the students no further information will be provided about them.  
 
"The colleges will remain open following advice from Environmental and Public Health.

"We are committed to supporting our students who have been impacted by the pandemic. Students who have to be at home due to Public Health guidelines will continue to receive school work online, from today, so that they can continue with their education.”
