Hautlieu School confirms case of COVID-19

04 November 2020

covid update

Statement from the Department for Children, Young People, Education and Skills:

“We have been advised that there has been a confirmed case of Covid-19 at Hautlieu School. The individual has not been in school since half-term and is currently isolating at home, along with the rest of their household, following the public health guidance.

“The contact tracing team has advised that, as the individual has not been in school since half-term ended, the year group who are not direct contacts can continue to attend school. This may, of course, change depending on further information from contact tracing.

“The school will remain open following advice from Environmental and Public Health.

“To protect the identity of this individual and respect the family’s privacy, we will not be commenting further.”
