Higher Education Fair postponed

The Higher Education Fair 2020 events have been postponed as a result of Universities and exhibitors from UK being no longer able to attend.

As a precautionary measure, UK University representatives have cancelled their plans to travel to the Channel Islands for the fair. The Higher Education Fair is a very popular annual event attended by many students on Island.

The events were scheduled to take place next week on Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 March at Hautlieu School and Fort Regent respectively. Students and other representatives are being made aware of the postponement. 

Deputy Maçon, Assistant Minister for Education said: “It is with regret that we have had to cancel this event. We are committed to providing information related to University options and further information on studying at HE institutions in alternative formats and will communicate this in due course directly to schools and young people considering their future education choices.”

The event will be reviewed as to when it may be rescheduled.
