There are 10 days to go until this year's Channel Islands Christmas Lottery draw and so far, the first prize has reached £518,000.
As ticket sales increase, so does the total prize fund and the more money that is made available to local charities.
The draw will be broadcast live on ITV Channel at 6pm on Thursday 23 December.
Assistant Minister for Economic Development, Deputy Kirsten Morel, said: "The Christmas Lottery is integral to our Christmas celebrations in the Channel Islands and most importantly, it raises significant additional funds to help charities and good causes.
"Charitable organisations across the Channel Islands will benefit immensely from the money raised through ticket sales, so I encourage Islanders to keep buying tickets to raise money for good causes."
