The Government's first Closer to Home event of the year will be held at the Library on Wednesday 13 April.
Closer to Home makes it easier for people to access services that can improve their wellbeing and this event will be aimed at children and families. These events bring together Government services and the voluntary sector to offer a range of free support, advice, and guidance.
The following activities will be happening throughout the day:
- Move More Session-9:30am-12pm
- Baby Bounce & Rhyme-2pm
- Coding Club-4pm
- Jersey Marine Conservation activities-2pm
Other organisations will also be attending including:
- Brighter Futures
- Autism Jersey
- Mind Jersey
- Youth Service
- Child Accident Prevention Jersey
- Children and Families Hub
- Jersey Sport
- Work and Family Officers from Customer and Local Services
Minister for Social Security, Deputy Judy Martin, said: "This is a great way for young Islanders and their families to find out what support and activities are available and bring in these services and information into the community.
"These events have provided Islanders with fantastic opportunities in the past and I encourage young people and families to come along on Wednesday to find out what's on offer."
