Further arrests in drug importation investigation

Following the return of Ibrahim Roslan to Jersey from Liverpool on Wednesday 11 October, ongoing collaborative investigation between the Jersey Customs and Immigration Service (JCIS) and the Merseyside Police County Lines Investigation Team has resulted in a further suspected offender being arrested in Liverpool, on Wednesday 18 October, and returned to Jersey on the same day.

Aaron Nursaw (32) appeared in the Magistrate's Court on Thursday 19 October, having been charged in relation to the importation of cocaine into Jersey in April and June 2022.

Luke Goddard, JCIS Senior Manager, Investigation, said: "This has been a large and complex investigation involving a number of suspected offenders. Co-operative work with other agencies has resulted in charges being brought against members of a syndicate who are suspected of having been concerned in importing commercial quantities of Class A drugs. Two Jersey-based males have also been charged in relation to this investigation and will be appearing in the Magistrate's Court at a later date."
