Islanders are invited to come along to a free cycling event on Saturday 13 September at Le
Rocquier School, 11am to 4pm.
A range of activities will be on offer for all ages and abilities, whether a regular cycle commuter
or learning to ride for the first time:
- Try-a-bike: test ride cycles including, cargo cycles, e-bikes and pedal bikes with
Powerhouse, Evolution Cycles and Acorn
- Learn to ride: join a session with Jersey Sport, open to all ages
- Cycle clinic: get your cycle safety checked for free by a qualified mechanic
- Donate: bring your good quality but unwanted cycles along to donate to Acorn for reuse
- Find out more about other active travel initiatives, including Love to Ride.
The event coincides with Cycle September, the current Love to Ride challenge, and is being
hosted by I&E’s Climate Change Engagement team with Jersey Sport and local cycle shops also
taking part.
