Islanders are invited to share their experiences of the using mental health services as part to
of the Islands second Joint Strategic Needs Assessment, JSNA.
The JSNA, led by Public Health Jersey, aims to gather evidence to understand Islanders'
health and wellbeing and inform Government and service providers on the current and
expected needs of Islanders to help make improvements and plan services.
The findings from the mental health JSNA will be used to shape a new mental health strategy
for the Island. Andy Weir, Director of Mental Health and Adult Social Care said: “We want to
hear from anyone that has engaged with any of the Island’s mental health services, including
from children, adults and their carers. Their stories and experiences will help to improve our
understanding of mental health and wellbeing needs. This will ensure that our new mental
health strategy reflects the needs of Islanders.”
Islanders can share their stories online at gov.je/JSNA.
