Jersey Met has issued a RED wind warning as Storm Goretti approaches. The Government of Jersey has issued the following advice :
- Stay home between 8pm and midnight and keep away from the coasts
- Very strong winds with gusts up to 90 miles per hour are forecast at the peak of the storm
- Only call the emergency services overnight if there is a risk to life
- Check your property before the storm arrives and secure garden furniture and any other loose items
There will be a further update at 3pm.
