Bailiff's Island Appeal

The Bailiff's Island Appeal has been established to support those people who have been affected by this or the maritime incident on Thursday 8 December.

The appeal has been established to enable anyone who would like to donate financially to do so. It has been established, and will be overseen, by the Bailiff, Sir Timothy Le Cocq, in consultation with the Chief Minister, Deputy Kristina Moore.

Donations can be made until Friday 23 December 2022.

Islanders wishing to pay their respects can leave flowers and tributes on the steps of Ordnance Yard to the side of the Jersey Museum.

The Vaccination Centre at Fort Regent reopens on 20 December 2022.

Road closures

Update 16 December 2022

The section of South Hill adjacent to the old States of Jersey Planing Office is now one way up.

A section of Pier Road closest to the Haut du Mont flats remains closed and there are screens in several areas to ensure maximum dignity and discretion for the site.
