Applying for an Indian visa for Jersey citizens

​From December 2023, British citizens holding Jersey variant British passports can apply for e-visas for travel to India for short visits. 

The e-Visa webpage​ enables the applicant to check their eligibility and make an application.​

The decision to grant a visa sits entirely with the Government of India. Any queries regarding the process should be sent to the Indian authorities. 

The application now lists Jersey as a nationality that can be selected.

The process to apply for an India visa is the same for Jersey and mainland UK. The decision to grant a visa sits with the Government of India.

VFS Global is the official partner appointed by the Indian High Commission in London to provide  consular, passport and visa application services. 

Allow as much time as you can for your application and do not apply through a third-party supplier.​
