Disabled parking for visitors at Sand Street Car Park
Disabled visitors to the island who want to benefit from the above concessionary parking charge must bring their disabled parking badge to the car park administration office at Sand Street car park, with a note of their vehicle registration number (for hire cars this is on the key fob).
These details will be kept on file for that day but the same process will have to be followed each day disabled visitors wish to use the facility.
Outside of the car park administration office opening hours, leave a message on the answerphone.
Once registered your disabled parking badge must be clearly displayed in your vehicle as normal.
Can I use my eco-friendly parking permit in Sand Street?
Yes, you can still use your
eco-friendly parking permit to get half price parking. You can pay by:
- Contactless
- debit or credit card (not Diners Club or American Express)
If you qualify for the free parking you will be restricted to the maximum three hour stay at any one time. If you exceed the three hours you will be issued an excess charge notice.
