Higher education courses in Jersey

There are different degrees you can do on-Island. Most degrees include industry placements as part of the course.

Become a nurse or midwife

You can study to get your degree on Island for:

  • adult or child nursing
  • mental Health Nursing 
  • Midwifery
  • Learning Disability Degree Programmes

Graduate Teacher Training Programme

This programme is for graduates to train on-Island to become primary or secondary teachers.

The application process starts around January. There will be information sessions about the programme, including details about the application process. You should then find adverts for Trainee Teachers on Jobs in Jersey which will list all subjects the programme is recruiting for that year.
