Valley Adventure is looking to hire part-time activity instructors to join their very busy company for their very popular activity centre and sea based activities for the 2023 season.

Performers Preparation Programme
The intensive one year Level 3 Diploma, is a practical, performance-based course that will prepare talented students with the necessary technique and skills needed to audition successfully for either further vocational training programmes or to pursue a career in musical theatre.
Over the year, students will develop the wide range of advanced skills and knowledge that they will need to purses a path in the performing arts industry by participating in daily classes including:
- musical theatre
Throughout the year, not only will the students have guidance in building their own repertoire folder of suitable songs and monologues to ensure they are fully prepared for future auditions, they will also be coached in audition and interview techniques and will graduate with their own professional photographs and showreel footage.
The Performers Preparation Program runs Tuesday to Friday from 8.30am to 3.30pm for 33 weeks over three terms.
JLPA welcomes applications from all sections of the community regardless of ethnicity, religion or gender.
Applicants to the Performers Preparation Program should:
- be aged 16 or over
- have some prior dance and performance training/experience
- complete and submit the audition form along with the £20 audition fee
- attend the audition and interview process
The audition is a carefully conducted by senior teachers to assess skills in dance, singing and drama, as well as suitability for a career in the theatre profession. Career aspirations and personal qualities such as motivation and communication skills are also taken in to account.

There are opportunities with Samurai Kickboxing for graduates to apply for a paid role and work experience or there are openings for under graduates.
Starting as Assistant Instructor, teaching primary school children aged 4 to 14. Assistant Instructors master our syllabus to teach classes that are engaging and safe.
Progressing to Instructor, managing own classes, building professional relationships in the schools we operate at, working at our events and teaching holiday camps.
The next role is that of Manager, developing, supporting and training other employees with defined responsibilities in customer service, marketing, finance and business development.
There's also opportunity for work experience. Samurai Kickboxing will be running day camps between:
July 25 to 29 (5 days)
1 to 5 August (5 days)
