Historic Buildings Officer

The Historic Buildings Officer will assist the Head of Historic Environment to advise the Government of Jersey on the architectural, historical and archaeological significance of buildings and places to be assessed for potential listing, including visiting sites and inspecting historic buildings. A relevant degree in subjects such as history or archaeology, architecture, building conservation, planning or heritage management is desirable. A knowledge and understanding of database management and Geographical Information Systems (preferably QGIS and ESRI) would be advantageous. Applicants should possess excellent interpersonal skills and hold a full clean driving licence.
