The role of the Outreach Support Worker (OSW) is to support, empower and safeguard female survivors of domestic abuse and their children by offering them advice, guidance and emotional support. The post holder will provide support to clients who may be either staying at the Refuge or being previous residents, be seeking advice by telephone or needing assistance within the community.

The post holder will also promote the work of JWR and raise awareness around the issues of domestic abuse through campaigning, training and providing education services to agencies/organisations, professionals, young people and the public at large.
