Estate worker/Gardener

This role does not require any previous experience, but there must be a willingness to learn basic horticultural skills and apply them. You will need to be fit and healthy, and have a very much can-do attitude. A willingness to learn new skills and be out and about in all weathers. Be a great team player, but also be able to work alone.
•That all plant husbandry and maintenance is carried out to a high standard as directed by the head gardener.
•Maintain and grow the garden to ensure it meets specific requirements and expectations.
•Perform basic maintenance such as cutting the grass, managing weed control and leaf raking.
•Able to lift and shift benches, tables, compost shop stock.
•The employee is courteous and has a friendly approach when dealing with members of the public visiting the gardens.
•Ensure a safe environment by adhering to safety and health regulations.
