Motor Technician and Works Officer

A new two-part role. An opportunity to learn extra skills, take qualifications and develop your career as part of municipal services at the Parish of St Saviour.
We seek a motivated, reliable mechanic with HGV experience including an HGV licence to join our team to support the Parish Waste and Highways. Working with our experienced Foreman on a range of Refuse HGV’s and highways machinery, to keep them in great order and prep' them for assessment. In addition, the Parish will train you in Highways maintenance, procurement and repair plans to report to a Roads Committee across all aspects of Parish roads, lands and public realm.
You must have a valid current HGV licence, a strong mechanics background plus skills in Word/Email, some report writing and budget experience and an appetite for training and following safety rules.
