An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Grade 6 Specialist Nurse role within the Sexual health department for a period of 12 months. The successful candidate will work clinically to assist and play a lead role in the development of the sexual health service.
The post holder will assess, plan and deliver key aspects of sexual health care depending on the knowledge, skills and experience of the practitioner, to include the promotion/issuing of all methods of contraception, screening for sexual transmitted infections (STIs), perform diagnostic procedures and provide treatment and management of STIs in line with BASHH/ FSRH and NICE guidance.
