Lead Chef - Beach Cafe

Little Gem Beach Cafe is looking to employ an experienced & passionate Lead Chef to join our small team. Proven experience as a Lead Chef / senior sous chef is essential with the possibility to extend to a 3 year permanent contract for the right candidate. You will need a ‘can do’ attitude & be able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards in a fast paced kitchen. You will need to be able to work efficiently & well within a small team. Manage kitchen inventory, food costs & waste control as well as overseeing all kitchen operations including food prep, cooking, cleanup & ensuring a smooth & efficient service. Baking skills an advantage but not essential. Daytime hours only, no split shifts and includes working weekends.
