Pontac House Hotel is looking for a professional Second Chef to be the second in command in our kitchen, on a seasonal basis, following our Head Chef’s specifications and guidelines. The Hotel is a beautifully located, family run business with a great reputation for personal service and excellent cuisine.
The successful candidate will employ their culinary and managerial skills maintaining and enhancing our customers’ satisfaction.
The successful candidate will require a minimum of one year’s previous experience working in a similar role or 2 years’ as Chef de Partie. Valid Food Safety qualification at Level 2 is essential. Food Safety Level 3 would be an advantage. The candidate must be able to show solid experience in writing menus, creating rotas, collating timesheets, along with a high attention to detail.
